Rita Puspa Zakaria (born 20 November 1967) is an Indonesian civil servant, politician, teacher, producer, and former actress. She was born in Kelapapati, Bengkalis, as the fifth child from the seven children to Zakaria bin Muhammad Amin, an ulama, and Siti Zainab binti Kimpal, an actress. She has a three brother and three sisters. Her brothers were Zulkarnain, Nukman, and Gamal Abdul Nasir Zakaria, and her sisters were Rinie Yuslina Fairuz, Nida Suryani, and Sri Purnama Zakaria. After graduated from SMA Negeri 1 Bengkalis, Zakaria went to Politeknik Kesehatan Kementerian Kesehatan Padang majoring in nutrition in 1986, and graduated in 1989. She continued her education at Faculty of Public Health at University of Indonesia in 1997 and graduated in 1999, and earned her master's degree from IPB University in 2003. In 1989, Zakaria made her only film appearance by starring in Sabar Dulu Dong...! as Hotel Guest.
