Sheldon was born and raised in Atlantic City, NJ He is described as dynamic, charismatic, intense and powerful on camera, while possessing a smooth baritone voice with comfortable range. His emergence in the acting industry follows intensive training in New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta and Cork, Ireland. Storytelling has been Sheldon's calling card since the age of five and he has dedicated that artistic ability to television reporting his entire career, earning multiple Emmys and awards for excellence in writing. In May 2022, he pivoted to launching his professional acting career. Within the first four months of his acting career he booked roles for two major projects, Netflix feature film The Deliverance directed by Lee Daniels and a guest star role on Law & Order: SVU, as well as roles in Lifetime's upcoming A Rose for Her Grave. Sheldon's first two acting role were in Norfolk, VA, as he was featured in Soldier's Story as Lt. Davenport, and later starred in Cast in History as Sam Nixon. Both were productions of On Cue Theater Company. He is a graduate of Morris Brown College in Atlanta, GA. Sheldon brings a charismatic, unflinching and straight-forward style to his roles, blended with compassion, respect and relatable moments. He believes the spoken word holds power and carries messages from the soul. Sheldon says acting, in its most pure expression, is a deeply meaningful reflection of the human experience.
