A young filmmaker gets an assignment to shoot a film and finds himself in an unfamiliar environment - an aul (kazakh village). A young man from the city is immersed in a completely different world. The life of the small village is full of intrigues, conflicts and dramas, to which the protagonist becomes a participant. Step by step he begins to understand and accept everything that is happening.
